Barrel Master Select Rye Batch 1 is the first barrel proof rye whiskey from Wheel Horse. Distilled and matured in Owensboro, Kentucky, the inaugural release is a blend of nine rye (95%) barrels aged between 5 years 8 months and 6 years. The barrels were hand selected by Barrel Master, Stephen Corrigan.

Tasting Notes:
Aromas of creme brûlée and chai spice. On the palate, sweeter flavors of brown sugar and praline come to the fore, giving way to spicier notes of clove-studded orange and cinnamon candies. The finish is long with hints of molasses, anise candies and pipe tobacco.
